I’m Cathy Campaigne, a knitting designer and single mom based in Cambridge, MA. I’ve been a knitting pattern rebel since I first tried to follow one at age 13. All that fixing, adjusting and reworking eventually evolved into a passion for making original designs.

For me, knitting is playful magic. Inspired by nature, my designs often feel a bit like sculpture. The magic happens as much when I’m down deep in the math of a new design as when it’s flowing off the needles. But, I’m a bit odd that way, so I’ll aim to spare you the math and transfer the magic.

My greatest hope is that my design will flow from your needles with a spirit of play that echoes each time you or your beloved recipient pulls it from the drawer.
